Baccarat Rouge 540 was created through the collaboration between Maison Francis Kurkdjian and Baccarat, celebrating Baccarat’s 250th anniversary with an eau de parfum that evokes the transparency and density of crystal. Francis Kurkdjian sought to convey the poetic alchemy of crystal-making in this woody-amber fragrance, presenting a unique creation structured around three “auras.”

In the top notes, the airy facets of jasmine flowers and the brilliance of saffron evoke the aura of air. These are highlighted by an accord reminiscent of amber and dry woody tones, representing the mineral aura. Finally, the aura of fire is suggested through the seductive sensuality of ethyl maltol, a gourmand-leaning note.
